Hosni Mubarak is declared brain dead
Metanews: Doctors reported that former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is in a state of clinical death, according to the Egyptian state news agency. The agency said the heart of the former leader of the country had been stopped and not respond to defibrillation. But now Reuters indicates that Mubarak is clinically dead and remains connected to life support in a coma. This information has been corroborated by counsel for the former president. The website of Mubarak supporters reported that former Egyptian leader "is in serious condition," but "not dead, nor is in a coma", to which he adds that "treatment is paying off." Earlier the doctors who care for Mubarak decided to transfer him to a military hospital outside the prison, as his condition worsened. The Egyptian state television confirmed the information and added that Mubarak was in "critical" on life support. Last week, doctors had to administer oxygen five times to alleviate breathing problems.
