2 policemen injured in shooting at Palazzo Chigi in Rome
At least three policemen were wounded by multiple gun shots against Palazzio Chigi, during the swearing in of the new government of Prime Minister Enrico Letta. The responsible for the shooting has been arrested, police said. One officer has been shot in the neck and his condition is serious, according to preliminary information gathered by the newspaper La Repubblica. The second 'carabinieri' has been shot in the leg and not fear for their lives, the report said. Several witnesses heard at least five gun shots in front of Palazzo Chigi in Rome. The alleged shooter came dressed in suits and ties to nearby Palazzio, according to eyewitnesses.
