Junkie steals patrol and handles like crazy in Russia

Drug-affected man howling and bouncing in his seat as he takes a police car for a joyride through peak hour traffic in Moscow. The unidentified 28-year-old stole the car from traffic police at 7.30am local time on Tuesday, April 23, Russian news website Vesti Moscow reported. Police chased the shouting hijacker at high speed for two kilometres until he crashed into other cars at the entrance to a tunnel. The video shows him continue to yell as he climbs from the crashed car and reportedly attempts to escape. Authorities said the man was arrested and treated for injuries after the chase. A senior police source told the Russian news site Gazeta that the man was believed to be under the influence of drugs at the time. A witness to the crash told Vesti Moscow the man had been "flying like crazy" and another said he appeared to be doing 90km/h on the busy street. A camera mounted on the inside of the police car recorded the joyride. "According to preliminary data, the suspect lost control and collided with three cars," a police press release said.
