Emergency Landing Plane Crashes on Brevard Elementary School in North Carolina

A small plane went down on an elementary school soccer field Thursday afternoon, according to Brevard County Asst. Fire Chief Chris Budzinski. The single-engine plane crashed on the Brevard Elementary School soccer field, south of Brevard at about 4:30 p.m., Budzinski said. Budzinski said the pilot was the only one on board. He said he was either uninjured or suffered only minor injuries. There were no children on the soccer field at the time.
