Breaking News Explosion Rocks Louisiana while 600 Working at Chemical Plant at least 33 Injured

Officials with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) reports that 33 people were injured in a Thursday morning plant explosion in Geismar, La. There are no confirmed fatalities. Residents in St. Gabriel from Highway 3115 to Highway 74 should shelter in place as a precaution. Close doors and windows and stay inside.
