Finding missing people on wrecked cruise ship is priority Costa Concordia Salvage Master

Metanews: Nicholas Sloane shed a tear of relief on Tuesday as he recounted the moment he had announced the stricken cruise liner Costa Concordia had been hauled upright. Speaking some eleven hours after the successful rotation of the 114,500-tonne vessel, Sloane said he was tired but overjoyed the operation had gone as planned. He said: "Obviously now the main thing is to do a full survey of the damage and then we can adjust our plans to incorporate that damage. "But before we even do that survey I think the authorities want to carry out an inspection and search for the missing loved ones of the two families who are waiting." Thirty-two people were killed when the Concordia hit rocks off the island in January 2012, two bodies have never been retrieved.
