Plane crashes at Santa Monica Airport in California

Metanews: Small plane has burst into flames after hitting a hangar as it landed at Santa Monica in California. The twin-engine Cessna Citation, which took off from Hailey, Idaho, went off the right side of the runway after landing at the airport at 6:20 pm local time. Santa Monica Fire Captain John Nevandro said it was proving difficult getting access to the plane: "The fire caused the hangar to collapse and during the collapse and the heat the sheet metal kind of wrapped itself around the plane and is encasing it kind of and getting that off is going to take a while."
