Giant Rare Oarfish Found Off California Coast

Catalina Island Marine Institute instructor Jasmine Santana spotted the 18-foot (5.5-meter) oarfish, which is as thick as a man's torso, while snorkeling in clear waters off the island's coast on Sunday (October 13) afternoon, the institute said.
