73 degrees richter earthquake in Japan

An earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on the Richter scale was recorded 371 miles east of the Japanese island of Honshu, reported the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The Tsunami Warning Center Pacific had initially said no tsunami threat. But Japan climatological agency issued a yellow alert for waves of a meter to reach the coast of Fukushima region in the next few minutes.
