80000 bats fly over Australian town

Metanews: A truly spectacular view, as a colony of 80,000 bats is driven away from Queensland, Australia. The bats had infested a local park, leaving several residents fed up with the smell of the faeces the animals were leaving behind. The local council used helicopters, gun blasts and horns to drive the mammals away, and while many applauded the effort, some animal rights activists protested the decision.
