Car runs over a public festival in Texas and leaves 2 dead
At least two people died and 23 were injured Thursday after a car ran over a crowd at a music festival SXSW in Austin, Texas. Five of the injured were in serious condition, and one of them has been subjected to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, according to Austin police. The Toyota driver who rammed crowd was arrested while intoxicated, according to themusic.com.au portal. The vehicle was being pursued by police cars when the tragedy happened. According to witnesses, the vehicle speed at the time of the collision was about 70 miles per hour (110 km per hour)
