Consequences of 82 earthquake that shook Chile and Peru

A strong earthquake of magnitude 8.2 was recorded in northern Chile. It was also felt in Peru and various parts of Bolivia. It is reported that evacuations were conducted in Chile. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, 83 kilometers northwest of Iquique, reports the Center for the Pacific Tsunami Warning.
