Sabado Gigante will have its last broadcast on 19 September, the program comes to an end after 53 years of stay in the air. Sabado Gigante began airing since 1962 in more than 40 countries, is the longest running program in the air in television history. The show Don Francisco broke the Guinness record in 2001 with over 40 years of continuous emissions. Univisión also announced that Don Francisco will not leave the air, the driver will continue to participate in programs of entertainment and there are new projects for him. Univision's Don Francisco thanked for participating in 30 of the 53 years since Sabado Gigante in the air. Sabado Gigante began on Channel 13 of Chile Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco, and has remained on the air since. The entertainment program for all families marked the inico of a new era in television and made history in the United States. Last season Sabado Gigante will air in September 2015, and the last episode will be on 19 September of the same year.
