Can't Buy Me Love star Amanda Peterson has tragically passed away at 43. Peterson was found in her home in Colorado after her family hadn’t heard from her. No cause of death has been released but family cites previous illness may have played a part. The 80’s it girl will be forever remembered as Cindy Mancini starring alongside Patrick Dempsey as Ronny Miller in the classic teen movie. Peterson left Hollywood after becoming a superstar and had been living in Colorado. Sarah Michelle Gellar took to twitter to honor Amanda saying “When I was younger, I used to want to be Amanda Peterson, I even asked my mom for a white leather fringe jacket.” Rest in Peace Amanda.
