Who Regrets Passing on Legally Blonde?

How would you feel if Christina Applegate played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, instead of Reese Witherspoon? We ask because the Married with Children actress had a chance at the role, and passed! Christina told repoters at the premiere of her new movie, ”Vacation”, that the script for Legally Blonde was sent to her to audition for the part. But, she was just coming off of the TV show, Married with Children and was worried about taking too many roles where it seemed like she was repeating herself. AKA, being a dumb blonde. But does she regret it? She joked and said it was a stupid move, but she said that Reese deserved the role and did a better job playing the Elle than she ever could.
