Granada explodes at police in Lima, Peru

A Peruvian police died of wounds sustained in the explosion of Granada left at the door of a school in Lima. The top noncommissioned officer Adolfo Castilian, 51, of the bomb disposal unit (UDEX) of the National Police, died in a hospital where he was taken in a helicopter, according to state news agency Andina. The agent working on disabling a Granada at the school gate Christ the Saviour, the district of Villa El Salvador, when the device exploded in front of his face.
