Kanye West auditioned for “American Idol” on Saturday in San Francisco, where tryouts were being held, and surprised judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. West sang his hit “Gold Digger,” much to the delight of the judges who, even though he was joking around, gave him a Golden Ticket to Hollywood.
