REI Opts Outside for Black Friday!

No big retailer has ever opted out of Black Friday until now. REI is opting closing all 143 of their doors on the year’s biggest sales day. The company says they are taking a risk staying true to their values saying, "We define success a little differently. It's much broader than just money." They’re even creating an opt outside website with resources on hiking trails hoping to convince consumers to start a new Black Friday tradition that doesn't involve buying anything.
