Adele Joins Elton John with Elite Music Achievement

The unstoppable Adele is now joining the ranks of Elton John with one of the most elite achievements in music! Adele’s “Hello” is the first song ever to sell at least 1 million downloads in a week and it’s the second song to move at least that many digital and physical copies. Elton John’s 1997 tribute to Princess Diana, Candle in the Wind, is the only other song to do that, which logged two weeks of higher sales than Hello. And to think this is only the first song of an entire new album from Adele!
