Easybeats Singer Stevie Wright Passes Away

The Easybeats front man Stevie Wright has passed at the age of 68. Wright rose to fame in the 60’s with the band's hit song “Friday On My Mind,” which was later covered by David Bowie. Wright wrote many of the Australian rock bands early hits and was one of Australia’s beloved international pop stars. He was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as a member of The Easybeats. Sadly, Stevie died in the hospital with his son by his side after becoming ill. Rest in peace.
