You dare to eat a Twinkie 40-years-old?

In a glass case in a private school in Maine it has preserved a chemistry experiment conducted 40 years ago: a Twinkie that has lasted decades. According to ABC News, the experiment began in 1976 , when Roger Bennatii taught his students in high school chemistry lesson additives and life cycle of a product in a store. After a student asked about the life of the treat in store, Bennati sent students to the store with some money. When they returned, Bennatti ate one of the Twinkies and left the other near the blackboard, which is still there . Bennatti already retired , but the pastry remains in office now Rosemeier Libby , dean of students at the George Stevens Academy. Rosemeier told ABC News that he is not sure who will inherit the Twinkie when they retire; however, he quipped that the Smithsonian Institute has not called yet.
