Power plant explosion in China leaves 21 dead and 5 wounded

The explosion of a steam pipe at a power plant in Dangyang City, Hubei Province, central China has left a scene of devastation at the site. A steam pipe broke during high-pressure testing workshop reducing to rubble. The force of the explosion ripped the roof, windows and destroyed tables, chairs and equipment, covering the ground with debris. The blast killed 21 workers and injured five others, authorities said.
