The US Olympic Committee has apologized to the Olympic hosts for an incident in which four members of the US swimming team – Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger, James Feigen and Ryan Lochte – tore a poster down and urinated on a gas station wall, what the USOC called a “lapse in judgment”.
