Shooting in Houston leaves 9 injured

At least nine people were injured, two of them critically, when a man shot this morning against passersby in a commercial area of Houston, Texas, in the southern United States, the city police reported. The attacker was killed by police. The director of Emergency Houston, Richard Mann, said at a brief press conference that at least six people were taken to hospitals after the shooting. The today joins a wave of attacks suffered by the United States and yesterday left at least six people injured near Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, in the northeastern United States in a similar attack, and nine in a campus University of Illinois, in both cases by indiscriminate shootings.
