by WUWU
The giant and potentially dangerous rock will approach Earth next April 19, the nearest distance in years: 1.8 kilometers, which is 4.57 times the distance that separates Earth from the Moon. Experts said that no other asteroid of this size will be as close to our planet in a decade, as it will be called "2014 JO25", which will not return until 2091 but in at least 480 years, none of its approaches will be so Close as the next. The asteroid was discovered in May 2014. Astronomers describe it as a "bright object" and hope that it will be one of the best targets for observation this year.
