#LasVegasshooting: GMB SLAMMED over 'unprofessional' Mariah Carey interview

GOOD MORNING BRITAIN was widely criticised for their "unprofessional" interview with Mariah Carey today after they broke the news of the shooting in Las Vegas to her live on air. Many viewers were left furious by the surreal interview, during which the 47-year-old popstar was intended to promote her upcoming tour. In light of the breaking news that at least two had died and many more injured after a gunman opened fire on a crowd at a concert in Las Vegas today, however, hosts Piers Morgan, 52, and Susanna Reid, 46, were forced to discuss the tragic events with Mariah, who regularly performs in Vegas and recently concluded a two-year residency at Caesars Palace. ITV viewers slammed the segment, which saw Mariah awkwardly posed on a sofa in front of a Christmas tree, appearing to be prepared for a glamorous and light-hearted interview whilst she fielded questions about the incident.
