People who lived hundreds of kilometers apart witnessed this strange phenomenon that left them speechless. After the appearance of the sphere on the Yamal Peninsula, some users of social networks said that they hid in basements due to the panic generated by this sighting. A subject named Alekséi Yákovlev managed to photograph the sphere in the sky full of northern lights in the city of Strezhevói, in the Russian region of Tomsk, and published his spectacular images on his website on the Russian social network Vkontakte.
