Apps that pay

Do a quick search online, and there are dozens of apps that promise to pay you for doing simple tasks like shopping, completing market research surveys, watching videos, or taking photos of products or places. A lot of them perform as promised…and users are happy. But the FTC recently reached a $940,000 settlement with an app for failing to live up to promises when users met fitness goals, and it’s not the government’s only case. So, we wanted to dig a little to see what you need to know before you click to earn.
