#Rugrats Movie & New TV Series in the Works
Viacom has announced that it is bringing back the beloved '90s animated series Rugrats as both a new animated TV series as well as a live-action feature film. Original creators Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain are returning to executive produce the 26-episode Nickelodeon series, which has already started production. Meanwhile, David Goodman has been hired to write a live-action feature that will see the Rugrats ensemble return as CG characters. Paramount Players will release the film on Nov. 13, 2020. Collider's resident Rugrats fans Christian Ruvalcaba and Jeff Sneider offer their thoughts on this news and discuss which other classic Nickelodeon series they'd like to see revived -- excluding Are You Afraid of the Dark, which is already in the works along with a live-action Dora the Explorer movie.
