Meteor passes over Popocatépetl after strong explosion

Around 11:20 pm last night, Popocatépetl recorded an explosion with a height of two kilometers, in a northeasterly direction and with fragments on the slope of the volcano, reported the National Civil Protection System, through its Twitter account. The cameras of the CENAPRED captured the moment of the explosion, which shows a cloud of smoke caused by the explosion and a river of incandescent fragments covering the slopes on the side of the state of Puebla.
