#Chicago Expected To Be Colder Than Antarctica & Siberia This Week

Chicago is expected to be hit with the record breaking low temperatures, with forecasts predicting a chilling 23 below zero in the Windy City. MMN puts that in perspective by pointing out that Chicago will be colder than Antarctica and Siberia. Hundreds of flights have already been cancelled, and the city, along with several nonprofit groups, are reportedly scrambling to open additional shelters for the homeless. For just the fourth time in in the Brookfield Zoo's 85 year history, the zoo will be closed to ensure the safety of the animals and employees.
