"Avengers: Endgame" Directors Worried About Captain Marvel's Powers

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige once called Captain Marvel “as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie.” According to Uproxx, Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo agree and were worried that she might be too powerful. If Captain Marvel instantly wiped out Thanos, it wouldn't be very compelling, or enough material to fill out a three-hour movie. We’re all acutely aware of the dangers of having an overly powerful character. [But] we found a thoughtful way through it.
