8,000 Evacuated As Wildfires Wreak Havoc In Gran Canaria

Around 8,000 people have been evacuated after a wildfire broke out in Gran Canaria. The Canary Island has lost over 8,400 acres of land as a result of the inferno. Hundreds of firefighters are on scene but the soaring temperature and high winds are causing the fire to spread.
