Forest fires devour more than 400,000 hectares of forest in Bolivia
Forest fires have devoured more than 400,000 hectares of forests, crops and grasslands in eastern Bolivia, where the most affected region has been Santa Cruz. The president of that country, Evo Morales, said on August 19 that he would send 400 soldiers to that area to support the 200 soldiers who worked in the extinction tasks.
