Amazon, in a state of emergency due to forest fires

This is an increase of 83% over the same period in 2018. Since Thursday, INPE satellite images detected almost 10,000 new forest fires in the country, mainly in the Amazon basin where they have affected 68 protected reserves for environmental reasons or for the natives who dwell there.
