COVID-19 has mutated to a more contagious version, scientists warn in new study
The SARS-CoV-2 virus from the first days of the pandemic is not the same that we have now. Sometime in February in Europe a new mutation appeared and spread rapidly, being more contagious than its initial version and dominating since mid-March. This has one more side effect, it can hinder the development of a vaccine.
