Protests, tear gas and fires in Washington #GeorgeFloyd

In Washington, D.C. police fired tear gas stun grenades into the crowd of more than 1,000 people, largely clearing Lafayette Park across the street from the White House. A building that houses public bathrooms was set on fire. (June 1)
