Lozoya pleads not guilty to the charges

The former director of the state-owned oil company Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), Emilio Lozoya, gave his second statement for various corruption offences. This Wednesday Lozoya was formally accused of having received bribes from Brazil's Odebrecht, but he pleaded not guilty to the crimes with which he is charged. The Mexicans demand an exemplary punishment.
