Hailstorm causes damage to homes and cars in Queensland
by Jason.
Paralympic athlete Taymon Kenton-Smith, 26, was glad to be home before his car was badly damaged by a massive hailstorm that hit Queensland, Australia. The storm only lasted three minutes, but during that time, hail stones the size of tennis balls fell from the sky around Springfield's lakes. "During the storm, I was excited," Taymon said. In addition to his car, much of one of the facades of Taymon's house and part of the roof were also damaged by the storm.
