This "mermaid" puppy walks again

A dog nicknamed "mermaid puppy" due to the deformity of its hind legs miraculously recovers. Bambi, a Cocker Spaniel mix, was born with severely dislocated kneecaps leaving her with deformed hind legs. As a result of this untreated birth defect, the little dog, in addition to feeling pain, was unable to jump and could barely walk. Bambi was thrown onto the road from a moving truck and when found was dirty, malnourished and covered with bruises.
