A father obsessed with Star Wars decided to make a lightsaber for his son using everyday objects. Tom Karklins, 29, set out to make his six-month-old son, Freddie, his own lightsaber inspired by the popular Star Wars franchise. Tom, who is a video producer, spent a couple of hours building the epic lightsaber with a result more than reasonable to that of the famous movies. Tom, from Stockton Brook, Staffs, had been collecting pieces for years in hopes of using them for a fun project; which means the project didn't cost him a penny.
