Woman finds her car covered with a thick layer of ice

This woman in Britt, Iowa, woke up one morning to find that her car was covered by a thick layer of ice that she had to physically break off in some areas to get rid of it. Marcy Mayland, 27, had to turn up the heat to melt as much ice as possible, after she realized that starting her car and leaving it for 10 minutes had been useless. Marcy said, "There was so much ice that I didn't know where to start to get it off. It took 20 minutes for the young woman to remove all the ice from the surface, from the windows, and to wait for her mother to come in with the antifreeze to remove the ice from the windshield.
