Magpie barks like a dog

The curious scene of a magpie barking like a dog was recorded on video in the back garden of a house in Queensland, Australia. When Sharon Holt, 58, saw the bird, she went out into the garden to greet it and got a strange, if pleasant, surprise. Sharon said, "I loved it when it started barking like a dog, so I thought I'd videotape it. It was the first time the woman heard a magpie bark like a dog, but not the first time she heard a bird do it. According to Shanon, the Black-winged Executioner does it too.
