A 5-Year-Old Gets an Eyebrow Wax on Toddlers & Tiaras

"She's just gonna look at [your eyebrows]," Nicole tells her 5-year-old daughter as she sits in a salon. Not true. Alexis is there for an eyebrow wax, and the candy she'll get at the end sways her only temporarily. Alexis starts screaming. "She had a bad experience," explains Nicole on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' (Wed., 10PM ET on TLC). "The wax was way too hot, and it actually ripped off her skin, so she's been kinda terrified ever since then." Big surprise. After the first brow is done, Nicole asks, "That wasn't bad, was it?" Alexis replies, "Yes it was." Now time for the second brow, she pleads, "Don't tear it! Don't tear it!" "I would like to say that beauty doesn't play a part in pageants, but they're called 'beauty pageants' for a reason," says Nicole. When they've finished, Alexis keeps screaming and bursts into tears.
