Woman shares emotional reaction to becoming a U.S. citizen

After almost a year of waiting, this student could not help but be thrilled when she finally obtained her U.S. citizenship. Last February 13, 18-year-old college student Helena Palis received a letter at her home in Tampa, Florida, USA, and decided to set her camera to record when she realized what that letter could mean to record her reaction. Helena, originally from Venezuela, wanted to share her reaction to the news with her family, who were aware of how long the young woman had been waiting for this moment.
