#COVID19: Should vaccine patents be released to eradicate the virus?

South Africa and India fear that the virus could continue to mutate and called for the release of vaccine patents. They argue that countries like Cuba, Senegal, South Africa, Thailand and India do not have the money for patents, but have sufficient capacity to produce vaccines. But the European Union and the U.S., because companies need incentives to invest in research and innovation.
