Two Honduran brothers rescued after being abandoned in the Rio Grande River

The 13- and 14-year-old minors were found with signs of hypothermia on an island in the Rio Grande. They later stated that they had been in Mexico for 15 months with their parents waiting to apply for asylum in the United States.
