In Italy, ATMs are stolen with bulldozers

The Italian Police carried out an operation this May 26 in Sicily that resulted in the arrest of 22 people involved in five ATM thefts, which they started up with the help of excavators (also stolen) and moved to a safe place before emptying them. The thefts took place between July 2019 and February 2020. In total, the suspects stole more than 225,000 euros and now face charges of criminal conspiracy and aggravated robbery.
