Single Dad to return to television 25 years later

Actor and theater producer Gerardo Quiroz gave some details about "Soltero 25 años después", the spin-off of "Papá Soltero", the series that catapulted him to fame in the eighties, and that could be coming to the screen soon. In an interview, the actor admitted that the project is awaiting conditions and programming from the television network that received the pilot of the program that would take place 27 years after the end of the original TV show. "We are trying to raise, me as producer in this case together with César Costa, a spin-off of the series that will now be called Bachelor 25 years later, we are working to take it to television and we have already recorded a pilot episode, the TV station already has it. We are working on it," said Gerardo. So far it has been confirmed that César Costa, who played a single father raising his three children in the fiction, will participate in this new version. Gerardo, who played Miguel, will also be part of the production. The series, which aired from 1987 and 1994, revolves around the daily life of a single and coveted father who has three teenage children: the eldest son is Miguel, followed by Alejandra, played by singer Edith Márquez and finally Cesarín, played by Luis Mario Quiroz.
