#HERO: Grandmother rescues a bird trapped on a roadway

A brave woman rescued a baby bird trapped in the middle of a busy road. Ryan Cronen, 21, and his grandmother Jan Crow, 72, had just left a thrift store in Mayfield, Kentucky, USA, when Jan noticed a baby bird stuck in the middle of the road. Ryan said, "She has a heart of gold, so, without a second thought, she decided to jump into traffic and save the poor little bird." Once rescued, Jan and Ryan decided to release the bird at the former's home, but the bird decided to stay a while before flying away.
